For Summerjam’s 37th anniversary, we were honored to play on our very own “Electribe Stage” at the afterparties. It was the first time Afroelectronic music was featured at Summerjam afterparties, and the crowd embraced the Barulho Rave Sound, dancing with us until 4 AM on both nights.
For the 37th anniversary of Summerjam, we were invited as a collective to play one of the many afterparties. We were the only ones with our own stage 'the Electribe Stage'. Barulho Rave Sounds meets Reggae and Dancehall.
We had the privilege of playing on both Friday and Saturday night. On Friday, we played right after SIDO, and on Saturday right after Gentleman.
This is the first time in the history of summer jam that they had an afterparty where they played afroelectronic music and it was well received.
Of course, people come to the festival for a specific kind of sound, but no one expected the Barulho Rave Sound , and yet they were all more than excited and satisfied.
On both nights, the crowd danced and enjoyed the music with us until 4 in the morning.
